Click on above shell for an article written by Charlotte Hilton Green who was a well-known outdoor and nature columnist for the Raleigh News & Observer, and a charter member of our club. She published this article in Wildlife in North Carolina 34(7): 4-7 in July 1970.   It is a very thorough history of the club's first 12 years.
